How do you remove alcohol from the tinctures, if i don't want the alcohol?

Removing alcohol from a tincture using "boiling" hot water is not recommended. You will lose the herbal properties of the tincture.

Alcohol is used as the menstruum to extract the most beneficial properties out of the herbs, making a concentrated extract/tincture and it is also used as a preservative to give it a long shelf life without refrigeration.

Standard doses are 1-2 droppers daily as needed

Each dropperful is approximately 1 milliliter (ml)

5 ML equals 1 teaspoon. so, at 2 droppers you'd be less than 1/2 a teaspoon if that helps.

I would recommend diluting it down with water/beverage.

WHAT WE CAN DO: We can create custom blends using a different menstruum for you that are alcohol free, such as teas or glycerites. Please contact us for more info.

TINCTURE/EXTRACTS/HERBAL BASICS AND OTHER INFO:

*Tinctures/Extracts are taken by glass dropper, and or dropped into a glass/mug of water/beverage. Most tinctures don't taste all that well, so you can add it to water,etc to dilute the taste.

*Tinctures/Extracts are for ADULT use only.

*The most direct method is to take the glass dropper and carefully squeeze out the tincture either a drop or two, or dropperful directly into your mouth or under your tongue. Most herbal tinctures are absorbed into the bloodstream within seconds through the tissue in the mouth/under the tongue.

*Every person is unique, so I suggest starting slow and give it some time. This allows for a few things:

One-if you are allergic to a certain herb, you only have a couple of drops vs. a full dose. (Some people can be allergic to certain plants.)

Two-it gives you time to see how the herb is working.

Every herb is different, with some being stronger than others.

Also, some herbs may take up to 2 weeks to fully get into your system, so patience is necessary.

That being said, the same applies when you stop taking the herb. It could take up to 2 weeks to be cleared from your system.

I Cannot stress this enough! If you are on medications,have serious health problems,or are pregnant/breastfeeding-please consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before starting any herbal products.

*Some herbs will interact with medications.

*And if any issues/problems occur-seek the advice of a qualified medical practitioner.

All liquid products will need to be shaken prior to using/administering to thoroughly mix the product for optimal results. Products are made with real herbs, and you may see some herb left in the product,and that is ok.

Custom orders can be made, but depending on what it is, it could take a few days to months.

These tinctures, if stored correctly( in a cool dark place and away from heat), will last upwards of 3 years.

Once my inventory is gone, it may take another 2-3 months to replenish if I do not have another batch already started.
